GENERAL STRIKE- MAY 1, 2026-
The movement to STOP TRUMP is GROWING. The next step is a general strike.

It is clearer than ever that the majority of people in this country are opposed to Trumps agenda of RACISM, WAR and ATTACKS on working family’s, LGBTQ+ rights, Trans-rights, and our democracy. His approval rates are sinking and are at an all time low. From over seas to small towns todays protests are taking place in every corner of the WORLD!
Whats the next logical step? To make the peoples oppositions impossible to ignore with a general strike. A strike that shuts down work, school, and shopping!
After lying to the country that he would be a “President of Peace”, Trump has launched yet another war of aggression in the Middle East, thousands of people in Iran, Lebanon, and Neighboring countries have been killed. Palestinians have been slaughtered and driven out of there home, and yet we hold hands with Israel and continue attacking innocent people and killing civilians. This is an illegal War thats all about Trumps desire to control the whole world and hide the Epstein files. This war has NOTHING TO DO WITH KEEPING US SAFE. We haven’t been more unsafe, more lied to and more on the brink of nuclear war than we have ever been.
While Trump is unleashing the Pentagon war machine abroad, he is terrorizing our communities with his Gestapo or “ICE agents”. Mass deportations continue to rip families apart. Families seeking asylum, American Citizens, and Community Members that have EVERY RIGHT TO BE IN THE COUNTRY and are here LEGALLY are being detained and beaten because they have brown skin or are simply, an immigrant! People are afraid to go to work, school, go to the store, families are in fear and live in hiding. Trump sent ICE agents to airports across the country for a blatant act of intimidation.
Trump wants another 200 billion dollars for the war in IRAN and has already allocated tens of billions of dollars to ICE and border patrol through the “Big Beautiful Bill”. But when it comes to anything that would address the cost of living crisis in the United States, Trump isn’t interested. We need Healthcare, housing, and affordable groceries, not mass deportations and war.
A general strike is when people from ALL WALKS OF LIFE show solidarity by staying home from school or work, and boycott shopping. This shuts down profit for the billionaire class who run the government and demonstrates that working people are the ones running the country.
Join us on May 1st, 2026 where unions, Community groups, and progressive organizations of all kinds are gearing up for a powerful day of protest. We need to do everything in our power to get ready AND STOP TRUMP IN HIS TRACKS. Working people are the backbone of this country, and we will not be ignored.
